This month we feature twelve year old, Alicia, who first started gymnastics at 4 years old and has been climbing the ranks ever since!
In 2016 Alicia competed at level six and finished 1st overall in the State Championships. Like all successful athletes she built on this success and tried out to represent South Australia, ultimately earning a position in the team and representing her home state at Trans Bass in Geelong!
This year Alicia is now in level 7 and only narrowly missed out on getting in to the national team and representing Australia. She says "One of my goals for the upcoming year is to make it into the next national team!"
We're always interested in looking for similarities between people finding success and goal setting is definitely something they all have in common.
We wish Alicia all the very best for getting in to the national team, we know it's only a matter of time until she makes it!
