With everything that's happened already in 2020 it could be easy to dismiss the closure of running events as a minor inconvenience not worth thinking about.
But for many of us, running is an integral part of our life and quite frankly a large part of our mental health depends on it. We shouldn't feel guilty about feeling a bit disappointed.
Being passionate about running and staying healthy allows us to be our best selves so that, in turn, we can be the best parent, partner, friend, relative or colleague to those we care most about.
And that's what we need right now to get us through these challenging times.
