We love receiving photos of all your medals and each month our favourite will earn a free Medal Display and be featured in our Athlete Spotlight!
This month we feature triathlete and all-round action hero, Amanda Rykoff!
Amanda started taking sport seriously at age 6, making the decision to play basketball and doing so competitively for 15 years.
One sport wasn't enough for Amanda so she also took up tennis and cricket, eventually representing Queensland and placing 3rd at the Women's National Cricket Exchange!
Amanda's first taste of Triathlons came in high school P.E. and that's when the love of the sport began.
Growing up, Amanda was a sprinter so changing to longer distances has been a challenge but thanks to lots of consistent training she has now completed a huge array of events right up to one of the biggest challenges on earth, the Iron Man 70.3!
Speaking about her journey, Amanda told us "I've done things I'd never thought possible!! So always challenge yourself and you may surprise yourself with how strong you really are."
Truly inspiring words from an incredible athlete and we can't wait to see what she achieves next!

Our mission is to help celebrate wins and inspire many more, by hanging medals properly.
Keep posting photos of your Medal Displays to our Facebook page or tag @MedalDisplays on Instagram for your chance to be featured and earn yourself a free Medal Display!
Plus, you never know who you might inspire!
We're super excited about this as we know that behind every collection of medals is an awesome story!
