This month, it is our privilege to feature another courageous athlete, a true Ironman and a fighter who lives up to his motto— Never Give Up. Here, we share Luke Sypott’s story.
“I grew up in country Victoria playing football all my life representing the Australian Army and Australian Defence Force a number of times throughout my career.
After my body took a battering in football I discovered the world of endurance racing, in particular triathlon.
After a few years of finding my feet and learning lessons along the way I will be competing in my second 70.3 Iron Man in Western Sydney in November 2018.
This is a particularly challenging event for me as my wife and mother of our two children (Sofie 6 and Blake 3) is away in Afghanistan with the Australian Army till Feb 2019.
Our children and I tell each other before going to bed every night to never give up.”
